Dr. Heather Rife graduated from Kansas State University of Veterinary Medicine in 1985.  After completing an internship at New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine, she joined Dr. Julie Tremblay as an owner of Veterinary Associates of East Haven.  Dr. Rife’s focus is on small animal medicine and surgery with a special interest in small mammals including rabbits, ferrets, and other pocket pets.  In addition to veterinary medicine, she also helps dog owners with their pet’s behavioral issues.  Dr. Rife lives in Guilford with her husband, Tony, a cat named Skid, and 2 Australian Terriers named Martha and Reggie.  In her spare time, Dr. Rife is involved in dog agility competitions and Earthdog.  She is also an avid gardener.

Dr. Massimo Dammando attended the University of Perugia (Italy).Upon completing his studies in 1982, he came to the United States and received his Connecticut veterinary license in 1984. He then went back to Italy and practiced in Rome for 1 year. Dr. Dammando’s focus is on small animal medicine and surgery with particular interest in gastroenterology and endoscopy.  In his spare time, Dr. Dammando enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, cooking, dining, and fishing.  Dr. Dammando has 3 cats (Juliet, Z, and Dasha) and a Golden Retriever named Grace.

Dr. Stephanie Faubert attended the University School of Veterinary Medicine and acquired her clinical experience at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has a focus on Small Animal Surgery and has a special interest in small mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.) Dr. Faubert recently moved to Connecticut from Ontario, Canada. She currently has one cat and will soon be adding more pets to her family! In her spare time she loves to travel, hike, and cook.

Lori Guliani has been an employee of Veterinary Associates of East Haven since 1998.  As the Practice Manager of Shore Haven Veterinary Hospital, Lori oversees technician support and various other management tasks.  She also has extensive grooming skills.  Her love of all animals started with gerbil and hamster care and expanded into breeding of more exotic pets such as ferrets, hedgehogs and sugar gliders.  Lori lives in East Haven with her husband, Abele, and her Miniature Pinscher, Pixie. Pixie enjoys training and excelling at agility competitions regionally. Lori enjoys candy and chocolate of all kinds which she happily shares.
